A public demo suite about AI and democracy
demokrati is a research and demonstration surface from RISE. It shows concrete ways AI can affect democratic information environments: as a lens for understanding politics, as an engine of influence, and as a technology that itself needs governance.
What visitors should be able to do
Each demo is designed to be understood within a few minutes by an interested general audience. The results are not decision support, advice, or campaign tools; they are concrete examples that make risks, opportunities, and trade-offs easier to discuss.
Static-first public v1
The public version uses curated static results for featured examples. That lets the site run without queues, model keys, Redis, a worker, or long waits. Live runs remain available for ops and beta mode.
Sources and synthetic material
Some demos use open sources such as Riksdag open data or party programmes from SND and party websites. Others use clearly labelled synthetic cases when the point is to show a mechanism rather than describe an actual case.
